Click the first link
Search the extension name Dark Mode – Night Eye in the search bar on the top left side.
From the results, click on the first extension
Read the privacy details and click on Add to Chrome
Read the alert, and Add Extension
A new Thank you page will open and the extension will be installed.

This is another handy chrome extension to enable dark mode in google sheets. This extension is solely for the Google applications and web services such as Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Drive, and they keep on adding, recently they have added, Meet, Calendar, and Drawings.

Click on the first result
Click on Add to Chrome
Note: this will only turn dark mode in google sheets, google docs, google slides, and other google apps and websites.
How to Make Dark Mode in Google Sheets – Mobile Devices
Here we will learn how to enable dark mode in google sheets on the mobile device. For this, I have an android phone and I will show you the steps required to enable the dark mode. Let’s see how it works. So we have three options for the mobile device, we can turn on the dark mode for the mobile device which will essentially turn on dark mode for google sheets and the web. We can also enable dark mode on the browser and the downloaded app specifically.
So, firstly I will turn on dark mode for my device (it will automatically turn on the dark mode for the google sheets on the web)
Dark Mode of your Device
On your device go to Setting > Display and Brightness > Dark Mode
Note: There can different settings on different devices.
Turn on Dark mode
Go to Browser and open google sheets, it is in the dark mode

Open the browser, click on the three vertical dots on the top right corner
Tap on Settings
Tap on Theme
The current Theme is “System Default”
Change it to Dark
