- Open your presentation.
- Insert the images or shapes you want to lock.
- Right-click on the image or shape.
- Select “Order” and then choose “Lock“

How to Lock an Image or Object in Google Slides
Step 1: open an untitled presentation. Example below,
Step 2: if you want to have something lock in the background, click on Background
Click on Choose image
Click on Browse.
Upload an image that you want to appear in the background. Or you can Insert an image or shapes as well. Click on Insert > Click on Images/Shapes.
Here I have inserted an image.
Step 3: I am going to Insert some shapes and images as well, that I don’t want to move.
Note: You can add Word Art on your slides and as many shapes and images as you want into your slides before saving it as a PNG image file.
Step 4: These images and shapes are movable until you lock it. To lock an image, click on File > click on Download > Click on PNG image.
So that, the image is downloaded and saved into your computer download file.
Step 5: Now you can just delete everything from your untitled presentation slide. Don’t worry, everything is already saved in your computer as an image.
Now click on Background > click on Choose Image > click on browse > click on Download > upload the image that you just saved in the previous step. Click on Done when your word is done.
